Our bid is rooted in the spirit of our Island City. We are Proper Pompey. A place where everyone is welcome, and You Are Loved. We’re celebrating our stories from Dickens to the Dock, setting our Spinnaker toward the future with culture leading the way. Being UK City of Culture would be a transformative opportunity for Portsmouth – and we’re ready for it.
